For all we moan about waiting lists and dirty hospitals, medicine these days really is astounding. Congratulations to Connie Culp for having the bravery to do what she did, wish her all the best.
Coming from a country where most people count themselves damn' lucky if they get any medical attention of any kind, I couldn't agree more. And I think I've said before that doctors and nurses deserve much more credit for the good they do.
